vIndianz.com (Aug. 19, 2009) — The Jamaican Usain Bolt smashed the 100-metre men’s world record with a 9.58-second time to win the world athletics championship final in Berlin. He has proved again he races in a world all his own.
He added the world crown to his Olympic title as he scorched to victory in a world record 9.58 seconds in the men’s 100m final at the World Athletics Championships.
“I said anything could happen and it did,” said Bolt. “It was a big target but I got 9.58sec and I’m really happy with myself.
He is already an Olympic gold medalist and world record holder in the 100 and 200 meter events.
