vIndianz.com (Sept. 11, 2009) — Dr. M. S. Gill, Union Minister for Youth Affairs & Sports, opened the Headquarters of the Organising Committee Commonwealth Games 2010 Delhi.
The Minister was received and welcomed by Mr. Suresh Kalmadi, MP and Chairman, OC CWG Delhi 2010, along with other senior officers from OC CWG Delhi 2010.
The OC CWG Delhi 2010 has recently shifted its headquarters from the Indian Olympic Bhavan in the Qutab Institutional Area to the New Delhi City Centre (NDCC) Tower II, opposite Jantar Mantar, Jai Singh Road, New Delhi-110001.
The office is spread over nine floors with a capacity to accommodate a workforce of over 1,200. It occupies an area of above 2,00,000 square feet; 34 Functional Areas (FAs) of OC CWG Delhi 2010 occupy different floors of the building.
