CSK banks on Dhoni’s return

vIndianz.com (25 Mar, 2010): MS Dhoni’s absence had been a worrying factor for Chennai Super Kings. But not any more. After having suffered two back-to-back losses, CSK is gearing up to fight it out with team man and skipper Dhoni backing team.

The match against Mumbai Indians will have CSK fight it out with Dhoni leading from the front. Dhoni was rested after he got hit on his right elbow from a Shane Bond delivery in one of the matches earlier. CSK teammates now feel it’s great to have Dhoni back. We are hopeful and looking forward to Dhoni playing, they have been quoted as saying.
Apart from Dhoni, the Super Kings will also expect to see Matthew Hayden get into form with the Mongoose bat. The track at Brabourne is said to be a slow one, and that brings extra pressure on CSK as Harbhajan Singh and Muthiah Muralitharan have always proved excellent in such circumstances. Also, Tendulkar’s presence adds more challenge to Doni and his men. All eyes are on Brabourne and Dhoni.
