vIndianz.com (Aug. 22, 2009) — Case-Mate, the Georgia-based manufacturer of quality cases, is going to release the first cellphone case, which will allow users to charge their iPods and phones by dropping them onto small mats or into their car cupholders.
The case is made from leather, polycarbonate, rubber and silicon and the cell phone is equipped with a chip on its back.
Case-Mate Chief Executive Shashi Reddy says the approach as “power snacking.” “People don’t have time to plug their phone in for four to eight hours.”
