There are some interesting reports surfacing about Google’s plan to inculcate TV like channels on YouTube. If all goes well, we can have around 24 YouTube TV channels with-in a month. YouTube’s TV addition will be focusing on presenting the entertainment and news content in the conventional Television style.

Google’s ambitious venture will be another attempt from Search-engine giant to present an alternative for TV with live scheduled shows. New channels will not only let Google to provide more professional and ad-friendly content to its subscribers, but also an important ingredient for its Google TV, launched before.

Google TV was on earlier on a tight-spot, when the major studios restricted it from viewing its video content, making it futile for mainstream TV online.
However the Google has now come back bolstered. YouTube channels will be now be packed with premium content from Hollywood Providers. It was lately reported that YouTube has entered into a deal worth $150 million with Warner Bros., Berman Braun, Fremantle Media and Shine Reveille. However, out of two dozens of channels, only ‘Hollywood Reporter’ has reportedly confirmed the proceedings.

Another plan of equipping YouTube with scheduled programs that users can buy & watch, or watch them by the sponsorship of advertisements is also in the pipeline. But this will be a separate initiative, and has no linkage with the live TV content.

Mobile users also have a reason to enjoy, as they will be provided with a rare TV live service integrated with YouTube live channels. They will not be demanded for paid access or cell phone service from a particular provider.

Though Apple presently has a leap over Google, providing paid TV shows via iTunes, no one has yet initiated a free-to-air professional streaming.
