(vIndianz, June 10 2010): Sony has introduced its BDV-HZ970W, a brand new Blu-ray 3D Home theater The system is packed with advance features like full 1080p HD, with a 5.1 channel surround sound and so on.
It also includes a USB wireless LAN adapter (802.11n), which gives users easy access to the BRAVIA Internet Video platform, and Qriocity. The model offers two HDMI inputs, both of which have 3D pass-through, an HDMI repeater function, and a universal remote.
The Blu-Ray theater systems of Sony (BDV-E570 and BDV-E770W) can now also be upgraded to Blu-Ray 3D with the free firmware update, which adds DLNA compatibility to the unit. The model will allow the iPhone or iPod touch device that can control the players using a free application called “BD Remote”. The iPhone application will enable the users to search movie details as well as product information. It comes out with a price tag of $800 and will debut around July.
Sony also offers a diverse line of products, which includes 19 BRAVIA HDTV’s, Blu-Ray Disc players and theater systems, and audio/video components that offer various levels of performance and features.
