(vIndianz , May 25 2010): Skoda Auto India arranged a special preview of the much-awaited mini SUV Skoda Yeti for the online bloggers, writers, social networkers and car enthusiasts, in New Delhi. The platform gave the Skoda fans and automobile enthusiasts a chance to get a closer view and feel of the Skoda Yeti. It gave them a chance to discuss about the much-awaited Yeti.

The SUV has a huge fan following in India after it was exhibited at the Auto Expo 2010. Meghna Verma, head of New Media, Skoda Auto India said she was thrilled to see the exciting response for the Yeti. She said this response showed the nation’s growing excitement for the upcoming SUV Skoda Yeti.
Online bloggers and Skoda enthusiasts were an excited lot as they got to see many online users gather up in this offline meet. The bloggers and Skoda fans are eagerly waiting for the Yeti to be launched in India. They said that this event helped to further understand the vehicle in depth. The Yeti is different from the usual SUVs in the past. It is a modern day version that promises comfort and versatility. It is said to be economical as well as environment-friendly. It is a five-seater and the rear seats can be folded in different ways to fit in the luggage. Its long suspension and high ground clearance makes it competent for rougher tracks. Auto Bild India magazine is set to launch a trail, named ‘The Yeti Trail’. This is a test drive of the Yeti, which will start at Mlada Boleslav in the Czech Republic, passing through 25 countries and then back to the factory. The Yeti would be tested in all terrains including the mountains of Switzerland, Autobahns in Germany, the rally terrains of Finland etc. The Yeti is the most eagerly awaited mini SUV to be launched in India this year.
