We know Kate Winslet certainly does not belong to usual lot of Hollywood actresses. She has always kept a sensible attitude to things both in real life and her films too. Never been shy about protesting against unhealthy conventions of Hollywood, Kate has previously sniped against industry’s unlikely weight expectations or its over-fascination with youth and plastic surgery.

In recent past, the Titanic beauty has leaped further by forming an informal league against cosmetic surgery. The Oscar actress told The Telegraph that the British Anti-Cosmetic Surgery League includes her colleagues Emma Thompson and Rachel Weisz.
Winslet feels it goes against her morals. She has in fact bared all of her natural beauty with confidence in many of her films. It would have been better for Heidi Montag if someone suggested to her an intervention with Winslet before her infamous marathon day of plastic surgeries.

Emma Thompson has also raised her voice strongly against using knife for beautifying. The 52-year-old actress feels this is an awful youth-driven thing now where everybody needs to look 30 at 60.
Rachel Weisz, 41, have also voiced her accord that anything not au naturale just won’t do to the beauty. Wife of Daniel Craig also opined that: “People who look too perfect don’t look sexy or particularly beautiful.”

We share the views of the British Anti-cosmetic league, and wonder why people can’t welcome their age grace fully and confidently. But we don’t how this league is gonna work out their ideals. Recently, we also found Julian Moore and Salma Hayek speaking against the democratization of aesthetic surgery. Do you think many other American actresses will join this campaign?
