(vIndianz April 1 2010): Indian tennis star Sania Mirza will soon be Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik’s wife, but she says her favorite player will always be Sachin Tendulkar.
Sania has said in an interview with NDTV that post-wedding, she will continue playing for India.

Her decision to marry the Pakistani cricketer has triggered hopes of an improved relation between the two countries, though there are many who think she should have wed an Indian. “I am as much an Indian as I was yesterday even before I took the decision to marry Shoaib and he is also as much Pakistani as he was yesterday…I am going to keep playing for India, India is my country and it will always remain so,” Sania said in the interview.
