(vIndianz April 13, 2010): Samsung has unveiled its Monte in India. Aimed at the fashion-conscious professionals, the Samsung Monte comes with a cute design and attractive looks.
The phone has been rolled out with features such as multi-media capabilities and TouchWiz 2.0 Plus User interface. According to the company, the Samsung Monte provides an essential glamour to its users and through its cool functionalities allows them to lead an effortless mobile lifestyle. Access to Facebook and MySpace has been simplified thanks to a handful of apps. Also enhanced with a Multi Instant Chat Messenger option, it helps users stay in touch from one universal Instant Messenger, irrespective of where users are or what IM their friends use. The mobile phone boasts of navigation attributes with GPS supported by Google Latitude plus the latest Google Maps Version 3.0. High speed connectivity features such as 3G and Wi-fi and presence of 220MB internal memory expandable upto 16GB make the phone attractive.
The Samsung Monte comes with a 3.0-inch WQVGA LCD screen, a 3.2 megapixel camera and is compatible with 3D Sound Effects. Indian users will also be able to read newspapers in 9 Indian languages via specific software. The Samsung Monte will be offered for a price of Rs 12,390.
