(vIndianz june 17, 2010): Here comes good news for the die-hard Shakira lovers of India. After raising a storm with her track “Waka Waka” for FIFA World Cup in South Africa, Shakira the Latin American sensation, is planning to rock Bollywood by singing for the composer duo Salim-Sulaiman.
Earlier Kylie Minogue sang a song for Blue and Akon doing the honours for Shah Rukh Khan’s Ra.One. But Shakira’s performance won’t be a duet like the Kylie Minogue .It’s lyrics would be in English with a smattering of simple Hindi. The song will be shot with South African model Candice Boucher on screen for the film. The film will be a take on IPL owner and entrepreneur Sachin Joshi. The movie is expected to be canned in the next couple of months.
Shakira is no stranger to India. In 2007, she performed live in Mumbai and had expressed a desire to be part of the Bollywood. Salim confirmed the news and revealed that, the song would be very sensuous and cabaret .Let’s wait and see.
