vIndianz.com (29 Oct, 2009) — Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Thursday completely turned down Islamabad’s allegations that India was supporting the insurgency in Balochistan and theTaliban to knock balance off Pakistan.
“What was held concerning the Indian role in Balochistan has no basis. Those who are leveling these bogus charges know it jolly well,” the prime minister told a news conference marking the ending of his two-day trip to Jammu and Kashmir.
“The similar applies to the allegation of India aiding the Taliban. Nothing can be mind-boggling, far away from the reality. We are sufferers of terrorism aided and abetted from the Pakistan side. Both references to Balochistan and what is alleged about Taliban are extensively bogus,” he said.
The Pakistani allegations chase a spectacular gush in violence across the nation blamed on the Taliban.
‘India not happy with Pakistan’s action on 26/11’
A day subsequent to extending a hand of companionship to Pakistan, Manmohan Singh made it obvious on Thursday that he was not pleased with the action taken by Islamabad in opposition to those who planned the Mumbai terror attack.
“We are not happy. That goes without saying. We anticipate Pakistan will take efficient actions to bring to fairness all the perpetrators of 26/11,” the prime minister told reporters here at the end of a two-day trip to Jammu and Kashmir.
Pakistan has admitted that terrorist groups were based on its soil designed and masterminded the daring assault on Mumbai in November previous year that left some 170 people deceased.
‘Sacrifice aggression for talks’
Manmohan Singh as well asked separatists in Jammu and Kashmir to renounce the gun and approach ahead for talks to decide the troubles of the distressed state.
“Violence should finish in Jammu and Kashmir. We are ready to carry all stakeholders with us. We require finishing all the aggression to start a dialogue,” Manmohan Singh told reporters.
