vIndianz.com (19 Jan, 2010) — Dhaka: The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal P.V. Naik, who is on a goodwill trip to Bangladesh, will meet up Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Wajed on Wednesday.
Naik’s visit to Bangladesh is intended at improving bilateral associations, encourage Defense ties, summarize more areas of defense collaboration among the two countries and to decide awaiting issues through discussion and understanding.
Previously, he had met Bangladesh President Zillur Rahman on Sunday. He in addition met the three Service Chiefs of the Armed Forces of Bangladesh and is having comprehensive communication with Air Marshal S.M. Ziaur Rahman, CAS Bangladesh.
Throughout his trip the CAS will in addition visit National Defence College, Defence Services Command and Staff College (DSCSC) at Mirpur, Naval Headquarters and Army Headquarters in Bangladesh.
