vIndianz.com (Aug. 22, 2009) — India added 14.4 million new mobile users in July, the fastest pace in four months.
The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has reported that the cell phone users are increased from 465 million in June 2009 to 480 million at the end of July- 09.
Wireless subscriber base increased from 427 million in June 2009 to 442 million at the end of July-09.
Wireline subscriber base continued to decline from 38 million in June to 37 million in July.
