vIndianz.com (Aug. 20, 2009) — Now Facebook has started testing of ‘Facebook Gift Shop’ feature, which will allow third-party companies to sell their products by this Gift Shop.
First time, Facebook users will be able to purchase real physical items in the Gift Shop with Facebook Credits.
The test will include only four outside companies, American Greetings Interactive, GreetBeatz, Someecards, and Real Gifts.
Gifts created by developers will be integrated into the Facebook Gift Shop alongside regular Facebook virtual gifts, marked with the developer’s logo or icon.
The price of virtual gifts will be 10 Facebook Credits or $1. The price of physical gifts may cost up to 500 Facebook Credits, or $50.
Whenever a user selects a physical gift, he will be motivated to enter the delivery address in line.
