vIndianz.com (Aug. 23, 2009) — Belkin India has launched two new phones, Skype desktop internet phone and Wi-Fi phone pre-loaded with Skype in the Indian market.
The Skype desktop internet phone provides automatic login to the customer’s Skype account and allows unlimited free calls to other Skype users globally. The cordless Wi-Fi phones work anywhere.
If you dial the person’s mobile number via Skype, the call rates are Rs. 1 per minute to other mobile phones globally.
The company claimed a talk time of 2 hours and stand by time of 30 hours.
You have to install a wireless Router of Rs. 1,500 for this call facility.
The Skype desktop internet phone is available at Rs 7300 and the Wi-Fi phone is priced at Rs 10000.
