vIndianz.com (26 Nov, 2009) — The Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) have asked many of its aspirants on the lookout for a place in the best B-Schools to watch the YouTube to get support in cracking the online Common Admission Test (CAT).
The CAT, which has become online from this time, will be held between a 10 day bracket starting from November 28 and December 7 in 32 cities and at 105 testing centers.
Approximately 242,000 aspirants will try to bell the CAT this year for admission into the reputed IIMs.
The number has fallen from 276,000 candidates previous year. “Candidates are encouraged to view the YouTube videos,” an official message from the IIMs and their online test conductor Prometric said Wednesday.
There are a number of videos accessible on the YouTube for helping aspirants in coping with the exam. The IIMs particularly have urged students to watch a video titled “What to expect on test day”.
The management school in addition issued a final reminder to candidates appearing for the CAT to “stay contactable by phone and email from today onwards. Access emails frequently, counting the spam folder”.
The candidates have too been asked to make sure the admit cards meticulously for appointment date, time and test location.
“Candidates should note that any SMS messages sent by Prometric will be from PROMETRC (the letter
“i” has been omitted to be conventional to the TRAI eight-character ID regulation),” the company underlined.
