Reliance Mobile and RIM introduce the BlackBerry Tour Smartphone in India

vindianz.com (Oct. 8, 2009) — Reliance Mobile, and Research In Motion (RIM) announced the BlackBerry® Tour™ smartphone for Reliance’s CDMA customers in India.

BlackBerry_frontReliance announces a special pre-booking promotion of two months free BlackBerry Internet Service worth Rs 2000.

The BlackBerry Tour smartphone is a 3G-enabled smartphone will be available nationwide from October 12th for Rs 27990. Customers can pre-book the BlackBerry Tour from October 7, 2009 and the offer valid until October 31, 2009.

As a promotion from Reliance Mobile for pre-booking customers, users will be able to enjoy two months of free BlackBerry® Internet Service on Reliance Mobile’s CDMA network.

The BlackBerry Tour smartphone from Reliance Mobile measures 112mm x 62mm x 14.2mm and weighs just 130g. It includes full-QWERTY keyboard with 2.44 inch display.

The other features include 3.2 MP camera, a 3.5 mm stereo headset jack, 256MB Flash memory, built-in GPS, BlackBerry® Media Sync, removable and rechargeable 1400 mAhr battery for 5 hours of talk time and 14 days of standby time.
