Life is completely about listening to your heart and chasing your dreams. That’s the real meaning of 3 Idiots, directed by the tremendously gifted Rajkumar Hirani.
After so many films after films comes 3 Idiots. If you actually come to think of it, 3 Idiots carries a huge load on its shoulders: the load of hope just not like that, as it has loads of reasons.
* 3 Idiots is Aamir Khan’s original release following the record-breaking Ghajini.
* 3 Idiots is Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s third film jointly, after Munnabhai MBBS and and Lage Raho Munnabhai.
* Three actors from the spectacular Rang De Basanti squad: Aamir, R Madhavan, and Sharman Joshi — group up again. Plus, Aamir is teaming up together with Hirani. It couldn’t get better!
The type of publicity that has been generated for 3 Idiots would have been risky if the substance had failed to contest up. In this case, nevertheless, all is well!
At present to demystify the film: 3 Idiots is not about idiots. It’s in relation to three engineering students who believe in doing things on their provisions. That’s what they accomplish and that’s what Hirani, Chopra, and Aamir attain, too: making a movie on their terms!
3 idiots is based on Chetan Bhagat’s nove Five Point Someone and no other person can sketch any parallel with this movie. It’s simply amazing.
Here’s an additional false impression: 3 Idiots belongs to Aamir Khan. Yes, it does, although it too belongs to Madhavan, Sharman, Boman Irani, Kareena Kapoor, and Omi, the fresh entrant in Hindi movies who delivers an authentic performance. The film would be unfinished without any of these characters.
Often, we come across reports of students committing suicide as they have to live up to the family’s pressure/expectations. This film depicts a student’s suicide at the very beginning.
But the matter doesn’t end there, for 3 Idiots raises an important question: Was it suicide or murder?
3 Idiots belongs to everybody. But, yes, there is no denying that Aamir makes you overlook all his past achievements as you watch him play Rancho. To affirm that this ranks among his premium works would be an underestimation. Madhavan is implausible, particularly in the sequence when he explains his point of view to his father [Pareekshit Sahni]. Sharman is exceptional from start to end. This was a tricky role and only an actor of quality could have pulled it off. Boman is outstanding as the nasty head of the institute. The scenes between Aamir and Boman are astonishing and it’s a pleasure to watch these two dominant actors clash on the big screen. The duration of Kareena’s role might not be as much as that of Aamir, Madhavan, and Sharman, however she registers a strong impact nonetheless. Omi is outstanding and viewers are definite to love his acidic tongue and gestures in the movie.
Overall, 3 Idiots is without doubt among Aamir, Hirani and Chopra’s finest films. Do yourself and your family a good deed: watch 3 Idiots. The film has enormous youth appeal and a feel-good factor.
